State of the Art Technology, Proven Sound Therapy
The power behind Serenade’s gentle treatment sounds is a sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) platform that enables patients to enjoy:
- Customizable sound therapy for each patient’s unique tinnitus
- Three types of treatment sounds
- Data logging that records patient usage
- SleepAssist, for relief while sleeping
- Independent left and right volume controls
The SoundCure approach is flexible enough to be used in almost any tinnitus treatment program. It is a novel tool that combines multiple sound therapy approaches in a single device. The audiologist utilizes SoundCure’s software to test the patient, derive the custom treatments, and download the treatment parameters to the Serenade device. We offer a flexible, customized system backed by training, support, and a commitment to excellence. With Serenade, the hearing healthcare professional now has an easy-to-use solution for tinnitus patients.
S-Tones, A Novel Advance in Sound Therapy
Serenade consists of multiple tracks of soft treatment sounds to enable acute and long-term relief as part of a sound therapy program.
The three types of sounds are S-Tones, custom narrowband stimuli, and broadband sounds. Of these, the narrowband and broadband stimuli represent traditional, established approaches. S-Tones however, are novel, temporally patterned sounds customized to each individual’s tinnitus.
A proprietary set of easy to use algorithms is used to evaluate a patient’s tinnitus and create the sounds most likely to be effective.
Studies suggest that S-Tones can offer immediate relief. They can also be used as part of a long-term tinnitus treatment program to provide long-term relief. Built on a scientific theory of tinnitus and known neurophysiology, S-Tones represent a novel, advanced technology and a customized medical approach to treating tinnitus.
